The Guardian Angel of Constant Clutter

An image of the client's guardian angel figurine

A client unearthed this piece last fall. Kind of creepy, right? When we saw the title on the bottom, we both laughed and she said, “You need to have this.” It’s been sitting on my desk since, waiting for the right inspiration for a blog. I can’t find the artist, L.L. Parsons, online. I wonder what went through their mind in this creation?

I can’t find anything about this guardian angel online either. The closest thing is Archangel Jophiel, to whom these words are attributed: “I’ll help you find the time and motivation to clear interferences from your physical environment. Together, we’ll release anything that’s not serving you. We’ll donate, recycle, or discard unused items.” That’s the guardian angel of decluttering if you ask me! The website goes on, “You’ll notice huge improvements in all areas of your life as a result of this endeavor.”

There truly is a connection between our external environments and our internal feelings. Too often our “stuff” gets in the way of our ability to find peace and calm at home. The mission of Spirit & Space is to help create joy, one organized space at a time.

It’s high time I create more joy in my own space by letting this creepy angel find a new home!
